Hair Design Institutes - Cosmetology Schools in NYC

I completed the cosmetology course (1,000 hours) in 2011.  I want to say that I love this school.  Ms. Cathy Pagan (Director) is a wonderful person.  Her door is always open if you need to speak with her or if you just want to say "hi".  Ms. Ghada is the reason I went to this school.  She was there for me from day one.  So helpful.  My instructors were:  Ms. Perez, Ms. Joanne, Ms. Ernie, Ms. Cathy M. & Ms. Nicole.  I can't say enough good things about all of them.  They each taught me something different that I will keep with me forever.  I recommend this school to anyone who is looking for a good cosmetology school in Brooklyn.

"I have been going there for 12 years to get my hair done. The students always do a wonderful job and the teachers are always watching over and guiding. The students there treat me so well. I thought I would write about my experience because I saw a couple of bad reviews and I got to say that I have seen the customers behave badly, people who walk in with an attitude and complain from start to finish. That's probably who wrote the other review because when I am at the school salon I see women and men walking out and looking fantastic. I highly recommend you visit for yourself. "

"I went to the school to get my hair done and had a great experience. It was my first time at a school, but would diffently go back. The location I went to was on 86th street, it must have moved because it looks brand new inside. I was greeted by a Student who brought me to the receiption desk where I signed in. Everyone was very nice including the student who did my hair (Anthony). I had Highlights and a hair cut. My friends had all complimented me on my new look. I would highly recommend. "
